Management of Suicidal Patients for Non – Clinical Staff in a GP & Specialist Setting (Coming Soon)

This course equips non-clinical staff in general practice and specialist settings with the knowledge and confidence to recognise and respond appropriately to patients who may be at risk of suicide. It covers key risk factors, warning signs and practical strategies for supporting patients both over the phone and in person.

Through structured guidance and real-world scenarios, participants will learn how to communicate effectively, respond with empathy, maintain safety, and escalate concerns to clinical staff when required. The course also reinforces the importance of working within role boundaries, accurate documentation, and staff wellbeing.

Complemented by the Clinical Management of Suicidal Patients course, this program is ideal for practices seeking a consistent, team-based approach to managing suicide-related presentations with professionalism, safety, and clarity across both general practice and specialist healthcare settings.
